Frequently, law firms and independent lawyers who provide comprehensive legal services to their business clients have found that it is not economical to have an in-house patent law section or a full-time patent attorney on staff.

A growing part of our practice includes working with other firms and attorneys who need an experienced patent lawyer to help develop patent strategies, provide patent counseling, or provide patent services, such as preparing and filing patent applications. We can also serve as de facto in-house patent and intellectual property counsel for general firms, or assist in-house intellectual property counsel who need specific patent expertise. We also accept referrals for specific projects.

Russ Weinzimmer & Associates P.C. also serves as a "foreign associate" for the preparation, filing, and prosecution of the US counterpart to foreign patent applications.
